Bittercreek Alehouse & Red Feather Lounge – Boise, Idaho

Modus Architecture Collaborative completed this 4,200 square foot remodel in the historic Fidelity Building in downtown Boise.  The main goal was to maximize the organization and energy efficiency within the space without losing the character of the original dining room. Modus worked closely with the client to create a detailed program to reflect the desired flow in the kitchen and throughout the restaurant. A new vestibule was added to separate the wait staff traffic to the patio from the customer entrances. The vestibule also serves as a wind break for customer comfort while reducing the energy loss and from doors opening.

This project included: programming, design, construction documents, kitchen equipment layout and schedules and construction administration. Modus also provided exterior studies for seating, plantings, shading and lighting effectively updating the streetscape of the Fidelity Building.
